The Site is powered by WordPress, built with Storefront and Woocommerce, and uses Payfast as payment gateway.

Purchase Order Data /Customer Order Information
When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, this may include your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Customer Order Information”.
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to communicate with you; screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

As a business we retain records of Customer Order Information for tax purposes for a number of 5 years. Successful Purchase Orders are captured manually into our Shopkeeper Solutions CC (JSK) system to reflect sales made on the Site which are stored permanently. Shopkeeper is built with all aspects of security in mind, see https://shopkeeper.co.za/myJSK_Features/security.html. We also backup all records on hard drive and , and ultimately destroy customer and order records from said backup after 5 years.
Payfast
This Site uses the Payfast payment gateway. Payfast provide easy, secure and instant payment processing and have a multitude of automated and manual checks in place to protect both buyers and sellers from fraudulent transactions. See https://www.payfast.co.za/security-fraud/. Payfast is a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider and use Extended Validation SSL with 256-bit encryption. Only two of the four major South African banks use this –the highest– level of encryption currently available.
PayFast processes personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Payfast review data collection, storage and processing practices to ensure that they only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve their services.
Payfast take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. The servers that Payfast store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
Payfast restrict access to personal information to PayFast employees who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve their services.
Contact Form
If you use the contact form to talk to us, your name and email address is captured upon submission and kept for a period of 5 years. The information submitted are for customer service only, and not used for any marketing purposes, unless you have opted in to receive communication from this Site. Your details remain private and will never be shared or sold to any 3rd parties.
Reviews
Any user reviews submitted to this website can be used for marketing purposes without consent.
Mailing List
This website uses Mailchimp to collect email subscribers. Any personal information you provide via the email opt-in form (name, surname, email address, telephone number, country of residence etc.) remains private and will never be sold to any 3rd parties for any reason. Your contact details will be stored until you manually unsubscribe from the mailing list. Information you provide are only used to contact you with ad-hoc emails in the form of an email newsletter.
